Astro was in rough shape when we rescued him from Stockton, CA Animal Services, but two months later, he is healed and ready for a home of his own. He was malnourished and had demodex--non-contagious and completely treatable-- but has just about completed treatment. He is now a healthy, happy dog. He is house-trained and crate-trained. He has a real herding dog temperament and his favorite thing in the world is to play fetch with his squeaky Kong toy. Once back in the house, Astro loves to snuggle.
